The Morris Leslie Group is proposing to promote a development at Errol Airfield, by The Grange, Errol, Perthshire. In full recognition of the recent history of development proposals in this part of the Carse, this statement will outline the development proposals, present a timetable for construction, and highlight the benefits for the Carse and the Errol and Grange areas, in particular.

The most important aspects, for all to bear in mind, is that this proposal is not of the same scale as the previous attempt to secure major development in the area. It is a modest proposal that will bring many benefits to the local communities, including mainstream and affordable housing provision, employment opportunities, and the ability to secure and suplement local services. The Morris Leslie Group is a local company which makes a significan financial and social contribution to this area and, indeed, to the whole of Perthshire. It is in their interests, as well as the community's, that the development proposal is one that is promoted sensibly, and one which reflects the requirements of the area. It is believed that what is proposed will achieve the balance between acceptable and unacceptable development, and is a proposal that will be satisfactorily assimilated into the area.
